Okey is a beloved, classic tile-based game with a rich history and countless variations. It has been enjoyed for generations in Turkey, most famously in coffeehouses, where players gather to challenge each other over lively games. Similar to Rummy or Rummikub, Okey uses the same style of tiles and racks, but follows its own unique set of rules that bring a distinctive flavor to the experience.

How Okey is Played
The game is played with a set of 106 tiles—104 numbered tiles ranging from 1 to 13 in four different colors, plus 2 special tiles. Okey is designed for four players, with each player starting with 14 tiles placed on their rack.
On each turn, a player draws one tile and discards another, working toward the ultimate goal: to be the first to create a winning hand composed entirely of sets and runs.
Sets are made of three or four tiles of the same number in different colors.
Runs are made of three or more consecutive numbers in the same color.
Adding excitement to the game are the Joker tiles, which can stand in for any missing tile in a set or run, making them incredibly powerful. There are also false jokers—marked with stars—that look special but act as regular numbered tiles, adding a playful twist to the strategy.
